Check the dietary limits first
Indienne says it cannot accommodate allergies to allium, some nightshades or certain spices. If anyone at your table has one of those allergies, plan on another restaurant.
For other allergies and restrictions, the restaurant wants notice at least 48 hours before your reservation. Choose a menu for each diner's requirements and confirm any restrictions with the kitchen before that cutoff. Children must be over nine and able to eat the tasting menu.
What two people should budget
Two vegetarian or vegan menus cost $270. Two pescatarian or non-vegetarian menus cost $310. Indienne adds a mandatory 20% service charge, which brings those to $324 and $372. It also adds a 4% surcharge that you can ask your server to remove. Left on, it makes the totals $334.80 and $384.40. These examples assume both percentages apply to the menu subtotal. Confirm the calculation at checkout. Indienne says the service charge is not taxed. Tax is excluded from our totals.
For drinks, the wine pairing is $95 per person and the spirit-free pairing is $70. A reserve wine upgrade costs $50, and the menu doesn't say whether that's per person. Two wine pairings add $190, or $228 if the service charge also applies to drinks. The restaurant doesn't say. Any extra tip is optional and goes to the front-of-house team.
These calculations exclude tax, drinks, supplements and any booking charge not credited to the meal.
Booking, cancellation and hours
Reservations go through SevenRooms, linked from the restaurant's site. When we checked on September 28, the calendar ran to December 24, 2026, with Sundays closed. Indienne doesn't publish a release schedule. Choosing a tasting-menu time showed a charge of $25 per person, and the booking page doesn't say whether that amount comes off your final bill. Ask before you pay. You can cancel or reschedule for a full refund up to 24 hours before your reservation. After that, there's no refund.
Dinner runs Monday to Thursday from 5 to 8:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. The site doesn't say whether those end times are last seatings or closing times. The bar opens for walk-ins at 5 p.m.
The official site takes online bookings for up to six guests and asks larger groups to email info@indiennechicago.com. The SevenRooms guest selector goes up to 12. We'd follow the restaurant's own rule and email for seven or more.

Bottles, celebrations and arrival
Corkage is $50 per 750 ml bottle, up to two bottles, for wines that aren't on Indienne's list. The restaurant will make a cake with 48 hours' notice. A cake you bring carries a $25 cutting fee. There's no valet, and the restaurant points guests to street parking and nearby lots. The phone number is (312) 291-9427.
Indienne doesn't publish how long the tasting menu takes, a dress code or step-free access details. If an end time or access matters to your party, ask when you book.
Our planning advice is to leave the finish time open until Indienne confirms the meal's duration.
Compare before booking
Galit's four-course menu costs $276 for two with its 20% hospitality charge, before the optional 4%, tax and drinks. Indienne's vegan or vegetarian menus are $324 with mandatory service. Compare the four-course choice format with a tasting progression before paying the difference.
For guests who want to order individual dishes, Elske offers à la carte and takes bar reservations. Indienne's tasting room needs a reservation; its bar is walk-in only. A vegan guest has an explicitly priced menu at Indienne, while Elske's published diet list does not establish a vegan option.
